To adjust Koparent to meet your Company's specific needs, you can find various options in Koparent Settings. These are the settings which apply to the entire system, but you also have the options you are able to adjust for each Advert or overwrite some of these settings on each Advert Type settings.

2. Logged in user – additional options are available
3. Logged in & Advert Owner – has options to submit Adverts and manage additional options through Front End
In these Setting you can, globally, turn some of the options on or off:

Show Advanced search button – enable button which takes the user to Advance search
Mail to Friend – turn on or off
Show Contact Advertiser link – turn link on or off
Enable PDF Flyer – turn creating PDFs from Adverts on or off

Street Number Position: set if the street number shows before or after the street name
Measurement Units: does the Koparent use Standard or Metric system?

Banner Display – choose how to display "New", "Sold", "Pending" and similar banners
Load jQuery – how does the system load jQuery

Using Defaults:

To speed up some of the processes, Koparent allows you to use some default settings which will enter the selected data as defaults. This way you can set following defaults:
Default User. Default State. Default Country, Default User Sort, Default User Order, Default Advert Sort. Default Advert Order
Show Footer – turn Koparent Footer on or off

RESERVATIONS

In these settings you can set up all the parameters regarding Reservation and Booking of your adverts using Koparent Calendar and Date picker. You should set up these options to configure the way your clients will book your products/services and the way the calendar will display these reservations.

Reservation Settings

Setup for Reservations Settings includes:
Enable Reservations – on or off - you can setup whether to enable reservations (calendar) on each Advert globally. This should be on if any of your Adverts will have reservations.
Furthermore, you can override this option for every Advert Type in Advert Type overrides, and even more specifically, enable and disable this option for every Advert in Advert Settings.
Allow user registration - If enabled, users will be able to create their Joomla/Koparent account on the reservation screen and therefore making One-Step-Booking by making the reservation and registering their account in one step.
Reservation Calendar datepicker type
When a user clicks on Book It button in Advert (if reservations are available) he can now choose the dates or the hours he wants to book. He can do that in two ways: through a graphic calendar or through Date Picker below the calendar.
Using these options you set up the view and the type of the Date Picker shown on each Advert, and later in the Settings you can choose also the type of calendar view so this two match each other. If you choose:
Default Joomla Date picker or Advanced Date picker – your Date Picker will show only days and only the whole days can be booked.
Date and time picker – you will be able to choose days as well as the hours within a day to book.
If you choose date and time picker be sure that you use the correct Date format so that day, month, year, hour and minute will actually show in reservation. You can choose between 9 pre-set date formats or create your own using the right syntax.
When choosing date and time picker it is also important to set Minute step which is the interval for displaying time in both, date picker and calendar.

Reservation Calendar display type – here you can choose how your calendar will look and whether you will use it or not. If you choose:
None – calendar won't be visible and user will only be able to make the reservation using Date and Time Picker
Day – Calendar will display selected number of days, each separated by chosen Minute steps. Here we recommend you choose Reservation Calendar datepicker type: Date and Time picker, Date format which contains hours and minutes and set Minute step.
Week – week view allows you to display week by week, according to the Number of calendars you choose later in the settings. Weeks are numbered by their order in the year. It allows your users to book days and it is recommended you use Datepicker Type: Date picker and Date format for day, month and year.
Month – Month view displays your calendar month by month, according to the Number of calendars and Calendar starting month you choose later in the settings. Legend besides the calendar shows you all Date ranges and prices currently available on this calendar. It is also best to choose Datepicker Type: Date picker and Date format for day, month and year.

Valid days of reservation – This is the number of days which tells you how long does the user reservation lasts before it is confirmed by administrator. In this period, no one will be able to book the same period (unless you have more reservations enabled for the same days), and the days will be shown as "booked", with different colour and status Pending. It will automatically expire after the period you set here, unless you confirm it. This is the period in which a customer can pay you a deposit, send you a confirmation email or confirms the reservation in any way.
